Your Role as a Financial Aid Planner
Core Responsibilities and Main Tasks
As a Financial Aid Planner at American Career College, you will serve as a vital resource for our students. Your primary focus will be to provide clear, accurate information and support throughout their financial aid journey.
Your main tasks will include:

Conducting in-depth, one-on-one meetings with students and prospective students to explain costs, available financial aid options, and loan counseling.

Assisting students and parents with completing essential forms, including the FAFSA, Master Promissory Notes (MPNs), and online loan counseling sessions.

Meticulously reviewing student documentation, ISIR data, and financial aid applications for accuracy and completeness.

Resolving any discrepant or conflicting information in student records to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.

Updating and maintaining precise electronic student records, ensuring all documentation is properly scanned and filed.

Required Experience and Skills

A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a professional environment.

Must not be in default on a federal student loan or owe repayment on a federal grant.
