The Manager, TCO & Recovery Role

 

This is a pivotal role within our Technology financial governance structure. The Manager, TCO & Recovery will be instrumental in transforming our financial reporting and cost optimization efforts for global technology investments.

  • Job Title: Manager, TCO & Recovery

  • Location: Chicago, IL, US, 60607

  • Salary: $112,860 – $143,900 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Core Responsibilities at McDonald’s

 

Your primary duties will involve ensuring the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of Technology Investment Financials. Key tasks include:

  • Supporting data tools and flows for the annual Technology planning process.

  • Enabling leadership decision-making through powerful data visualizations.

  • Maintaining processes for product owners to track budget versus actuals.

  • Developing reporting for franchisee leadership reviews of tech investment spend.

  • Assisting with essential financial activities like headcount planning and corporate tax allocations.

McDonald’s Ideal Candidate Profile

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial management.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of experience in Multi-Project Financial Management and/or Finance Planning.

  • Significant statistical analysis and reporting experience.

  • Exceptional ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and SmartSheet.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Project Management experience.

  • Knowledge of McDonald’s restaurant technology.
